Is there any real women in dublin
How does a young man decide to take his own life? How does an abused wife stay with a thuggish husband; a recovering addict lose access to her kids; or the youth of the inner city give up hope? A portrait of isolation, division and deep despair, Dublin Will Show You How provides us with some very grim answers. This coproduction between the Abbey Theatre and the Complex arts centre, in Smithfield in Dublin, grew out of a programme for women from the north inner city called the Browbeating Project. There, in a frank exchange about the vicious cycle of poverty, debt, addiction and criminal coercion, the women gave free expression to something long intimidated into silence. But nobody likes a rat.

A mystery surrounding a woman's odd encounter with a "cult-like" group in a Dublin park has been solved after it emerged what she witnessed was actually a talented group of young filmmakers. On Sunday, Dublin Live reported an odd Tripadvisor review of St Catherine's Park from a woman who got spooked after seeing a group of people wearing black hoodies and covering their faces with white handkerchiefs. The statue was presented to the city by Jury's Hotel Group to mark the Millennium. On 18 July , the statue was relocated to Suffolk Street, in front of the Tourist Information Office, to make way for Luas track-laying work to be completed at the old location. Due to the increase in tourist foot traffic, and a common penchant for being "handsy", the statue has been groped often enough that the bronze hue has begun to wear off on the bosom.
